American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Brooklyn is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

One of my favorite spots in Williamsburg and I keep coming back. The citrus olive oil loaf is a must-order. Super moist, packed with poppy seeds, great flavor, and those streaks of color on top make it look cool. Get it. The Ceremonia Cookie is essentially a birthday cake cookie and it's good but I think I'll stick with the sea salt chocolate chip next time. Their cookies are on the thinner side but are still crisp on the edges and gooey inside like a cookie should be. I will never understand why people eat TATE'S but that's another story. And the burrito. I've had it multiple times now and it might genuinely be the best breakfast burrito in Williamsburg. Amy and Martty are so warm and so are all the staff. You can tell they're friends and the place kinda has a family energy. Especially if you're a first or second generation immigrant. I rate this place!

If you havenβt been throw it at the top of your list. I have been going here for a few years now and i donβt skip it if im in Bk. The food, coffee and baked goods are unreal and the people are even better. They recently expanded and renovated their space and I love how inviting and welcoming it is. It is always a great experience.

Finally was able to go here on late Saturday morning. Wanted to greet the burrito and happy they have an option to switch meat for avocado BUT unfortunately it would take 30 minutes. Totally ask for fresh, made-to-order food but since there is nowhere to wait and I was done with errands I decided against it. Got the chocolate chip cookie and the one on cake, both which was good. It is a big operation inside but nowhere to sit or eat. Outside can get long but nice staff taking orders and you can see the desserts on the rack which is helpful when ordering. Will go back to try the burrito someday soon.

Tbh the gluten free muffin was divine. I thought I had the best gf banana bread recipe but this put me in my place. I would have never known it was buckwheat/gluten free. So moist and fluffy and the perfect sweetness. Thereβs a short wait if youβre getting a burrito but there was no line or wait for a baked good. Their prices are steep-ish but fair given their popularity. The muffin after tax was $6.50. Honestly so many gluten free options it was great.

TLDR: chorizo breakfast burrito: 8.5/10 Avocado: 7/10 Cinnamon roll: 6/10 Ube Sesame Mochi: 10/10 Full story: First off, no place to sit inside so be prepared to take away. I LOVE BURRITOS. Now, this one, while being very good sits at around an 8.5/10 for me. It might be one of the better ones in Manhattan, but thatβs a low bar honestly as we donβt have the breakfast burrito culture of, say, California. And donβt come for the avocado one. If the chorizo one is an 8.5, the avocado one is a 7. Chorizo or get a salad somewhere. Now, pastries. I had the cinnamon roll and the ube sesame mochi. Again, while good, Iβve had insane better cinnamon rolls (think Tall Poppy & Petit Chou). So, should you get it, if youβre already here and are craving a solid/average cinnamon roll, yes. If you are looking for the best cinnamon roll in the city, continue your search. The grand finale. The ube sesame mochi delivers a WOW moment. I was inclined to try it after I asked the cashier what his favorite pastry was. Best recommendation! Highly highly recommend that one.
